I have a sick little one. We are going to postpone our class until next Tuesday March 9th. See you all then. And I haven't forgotten...several scripture updates are coming your way soon!

Sorry about Lucy. Regrettably I won't be able to be there next week. I'll try to keep up with the blog. I really miss the discussions. Studying the Old Testament has been wonderful. Thanks Julie for all your time and effort to lead these classes. Also thrilled that you will be instructing us in Sunday School.

This site was set-up as a means of sharing thoughts and insights to the scriptures. We are about to begin studying the Old Testament. Grab you scriptures, read the assignment and leave a comment about how you "likened" it to your life. We'd love to hear from you!
Reading Assignments
*you will want to have the assignment read by the following dates:
April 27th Leviticus, and Numbers 1-21
I will post the reading assignments monthly. I have also made bookmarks with the assignments listed on them. If you need one, let me know.
Scripture Group Monthly Meeting
In addition to discussing the scriptures here on this blog, we will be meeting once a month at Julie's home. We will meet on the LAST Tuesday of each month at 10am. Our next meeting will be April 27th. Come prepared to share something you have learned from the Old Testament from our recent readings.
A Few Ground Rules
*Please only use Church approved supplemental material when adding insight other than your own. These would include the standard works, church produced manuals, and church magazines. There are many wonderful educators out there. They have published many insightful things. But for our purposes let's stick with the basics.
*Please site your sources when quoting or referring to supplemental material.
*Please be respectful of others and their comments.
*Please feel free to ask questions. If I don't know the answers I will do my best to find them.
*If you know the answer to someone's question, please feel free to answer.
